On May 3rd, our hospital in Old Fangak, #SouthSudan was deliberately bombed. • At least 7 people killed • 20 people injured, including MSF staff • Pharmacy completely destroyed • 110,000+ people left without access to healthcare This is the only hospital in the entire Fangak county. Three months after suspending international assistance, the US has terminated much of its funding for global health and humanitarian programs. This decision leaves patients worldwide scrambling for treatment, medical providers struggling to maintain services, and aid groups raising alarms about escalating needs in crisis-hit regions. The future of the few remaining US-funded programs is uncertain, as the administration extends the foreign aid review by an additional 30 days.
