Congratulations to Ty Clark on an outstanding career. Ty finished his senior year All-State in the Pole Vault.

Freshman Shot Putter Jayvon Tompkins punched his ticket to Charleston along with Ty Clark with his AQ jump of 14’2.5 in PV.

Congratulations to Travis Hoffman and Ty Clark on placing at the IHSA 2A Boys’ Track & Field State Finals. Travis Hoffman finished in 5th place in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.64. Ty Clark finished in 8th place in the pole vault with a vault of 13’ 5.25”. Clark is a two-time All-Stater in pole vault. Congratulations are also in order for Henry McMurry and Kaleb Kasper who ran in the 3200-meter finals. McMurry finished in 28th place with a time of 10:03.39. Kasper finished in 42nd place with a time of 10:49.57.

Representing @mshsathletics is Deangelo Hughey. The junior saw significant growth between his sophomore and junior seasons, going from not qualifying for state to placing second in the Class 2A 400-meter dash and sixth in the 200 dash.

Deangelo Hughey finishes an outstanding junior year campaign as an All-Stater in the 200 and 400m dash. Deangelo was the runner-up in the 400 and 6th in the 200.
