Mount Saint Joseph High School

Students in our Fire Protection Engineering Camp participated in University of Maryland's Fire Protection Design/Engineering Challenge. They utilized our Build Lab to create small-scale structures with fire detection and suppression systems before conducting controlled burn test.

This summer's Environmental Leadership Camp students participated in a three-day, overnight trip to the Karen Noonan Environmental Education Center. Leaders from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation shared their knowledge about the history of the Chesapeake Bay region.

Last week, we welcomed students to the Middle School Leadership Camp for a week of learning, collaboration, and growth. Through seminars, small group discussions, and team-building activities, campers explored what it means to lead and live out the values of Xaverian charism.

After reading and exploring different comics throughout last week, campers in the Cartoon & Graphic Design Novel Camp created their own original comics and short graphic stories!

From the bases to the baskets, students enjoyed all that the sports camps on campus had to offer last week!

4th-6th graders enjoyed LEGO Robotics Camp on campus last week, during which they built and coded their own robots! It was a week of problem solving, critical thinking, and fun!

Congratulations to our chaplain, Father John Bilenki '13, for being voted Best Clergyperson in the Baltimore Sun's 2026 Readers' Choice contest!

In June, a group of 80 current students, parents, alumni, faculty, & friends took a trip "down under" to Australia and New Zealand! Trip highlights included touring the Sydney Opera House, surfing at Bondi Beach, snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, petting kangaroos, and more!

Summer at the Mount is in full force, as we held a number of sports camps last week!

Yesterday, incoming members of the Class of 2030 gathered for a day of faith and fellowship, celebrating Mass together before heading to Hersheypark to build brotherhood and make lasting memories!

In the past 2 months, Mount Saint Joseph has had 3 alumni ordained as Catholic priests! Fr. Jose Rosa, OSB '16 was ordained on May 22, 2026, and Fr. Stephen Kirby '17 and Fr. Russ Sullivan '16 were ordained on June 20, 2026. They will continue to be in our prayers!

Fr. Stephen Kirby '17 (center) was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on June 20. This past Sunday, Fr. Kirby celebrated his first Mass as a priest at St. John the Evangelist!

Happy Father's Day from Mount Saint Joseph! This year, we had 24 alumni who had sons graduating in the Class of 2026!

Congratulations to Phil Kraska '04 on being the MIAA Baseball Coach of the Year! He led the Gaels to an MIAA-best 23 wins, securing the MIAA regular season title. The team then advanced through the playoffs and reached the MIAA Championship.

Maiden Choice Run, right behind our campus, got a bump up in its stock of fish recently! We released the rainbow trout we have been raising in our biology lab aquarium!

Congratulations to our sustainability students on their 1st place victory at the Baltimore City Department of Public Works Eco-Warriors' Competition! At the awards ceremony, we were presented with $3,000 for our sustainability program!

Smile, it's the last day of exams, Gael Nation! Your hard work has paid off, and now it's time to relax and enjoy the summer!

Tower restoration work is now underway! Thanks to the generosity of the Alumni Association, this beloved symbol of our campus will be preserved for generations of Gaels to come!
