"You might feel a little sting." Don't be afraid to biopsy the skullbase! Examples of skullbase biopsies with a biopsy system I jerry-rigged together using an 18g medication draw needle as an introducer and a 22g spinal needle to biopsy. #radiology #neurosurgery #NeuroRad

Facial nerve. It has been the greatest challenge of MR neurography b/c of its small size and surrounding parotid tissue. We took on the challenge and now we can even image its tiny branches to guide parotid and facial reanimation surgeries. #radiology #MedEd #Neurosurgery #mri
