We in the medical community need to advocate to change this discriminatory policy. Our patients deserve expert care no matter where they live. Many can’t afford to travel to specialized hospitals and telehealth gives them the opportunity to get the care they deserve. #medtwitter

State laws restricting out of state video visits without licensure are absurd and frankly abusive to patients - at a point where some patients want to drive out of their home state to do a video visit from their car in a parking lot in another location where it is “legal”….
