MCW partnered with @MSOE last month to host a hackathon event for students! This collaboration centered on a CAREScan challenge where students designed and evaluated AI-driven systems capable of generating accurate, patient-friendly summaries of radiology reports while validating the safety and clinical correctness of those summaries. CAREScan is a multi-modal mobile cancer screening initiative, based at MCW’s Institute for Health & Humanity, designed to expand access to advanced imaging and early detection services by bringing screening directly into communities. #AI #Hackathon #MedicalEducation #CommunityHealth
