Joe Flacco is closer in age to Brett Favre than Shedeur Sanders
Ian Rapoport@RapSheet

The #Browns are naming QB Joe Flacco as their starter, the end of a training camp competition that never really was. Flacco quickly emerged as QB1, while the others battled injuries. The player who led them to the playoffs in 2023 is back.

My honest thoughts on Jim Harbaugh — hear me out. He’s not a cheater. He deserves criticism for how he’s handled some situations, but knowingly and brazenly breaking rules is not one of them. Burgergate was so trivial that it’s mind-numbing, and it’s totally believable he wouldn’t remember the details. Signgate reminds us that the NCAA is not a court of law. He had no legal obligation to bow to their unreasonable demands, and when he didn’t, they wrote their own version of events that painted him negatively. While far from perfect, he was steadfast in lobbying for student-athletes to have a financial seat at the table — something the NCAA hated. The truth is, the NCAA is no one’s friend. If it were up to me, many of the vacated wins they’ve stripped from schools — including Ohio State’s for trading personal property — would be restored. This was never about Harbaugh vs the NCAA. It should be everybody vs the NCAA. Godspeed in the NFL, Coach. #GoBlue

$20m in fines. But how much did they profit from 21-23 by cheating? Guessing way more then $20m

Michigan's total cumulative fines from the NCAA decision are expected to reach as much as $35 million - or roughly quadruple the previous historic high (Tenn $8-9M): ~$7.2M (10% of FB budget) ~$27M ($6M CFP in 2025 + $21M CFP in 2026) ~$700K+ (10% of all FB scholarships awarded)
