आज 1 मई, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मज़दूर दिवस है। मज़दूर की मज़दूरी उसका पसीना सूखने से पहले अदा करो (हदीस) दुनिया का कोई काम जिससे हलाल और ईमानदारी की रोज़ी कमाई जाए छोटा या बड़ा नहीं होता। किसी भी जायज़ काम से अपनी जीविका कमाने वाला व्यक्ति छोटा या बड़ा काम की वजह से नहीं हो सकता।

दिल्ली: जमात-ए-इस्लामी हिंद के उपाध्यक्ष सलीम इंजीनियर ने पश्चिम एशिया में जारी संघर्ष पर कहा, "आखिरकार में तो गुफ्तगू ही होना है, लेकिन जब कोई देश सारे इंटरनेशनल कानून को तोड़कर किसी देश पर हमला कर दे, वहां के सुप्रीम लीडर और वहां की लीडरशिप को डायरेक्ट निशाना बनाए और हजारों घरों को टारगेट करके नुकसान पहुंचाए, तो उस देश को अधिकार है कि वो इस आक्रमण का जवाब दे, अपनी रक्षा करे..."

दिल्ली: जमात-ए-इस्लामी हिंद के उपाध्यक्ष सलीम इंजीनियर ने कहा, "पांच राज्यों में जो चुनाव हो रहे हैं, उसमें हमने जनता से एक अपील की है कि वे अपने मताधिकार का इस्तेमाल करें और वोट जरूर डालें। सोच-समझकर वोट डालें, भावनाओं में बहकर वोट न डालें। ऐसे लोगों और पार्टियों को वोट करें जो जनता के वास्तविक मुद्दों को गंभीरता से लेते हों..."

The violence and lawlessness in Bangladesh is matter of great concern. Mobile lynching and murder of a Hindu youth is a heneious crime. The Criminals should be punished as per law without delay. The Government should assure security & dignity specially to the minorities.

We are deeply saddened to learn about the horrific bus fire tragedy on the Jaisalmer-Jodhpur Highway that claimed the lives of 20 passengers and left 16 others critically injured with severe burns. We offer our sincere condolences and prayers to the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones in this accident. We share the grief of those suffering through this immense tragedy and pray for the speedy recovery of all those injured in the accident and hope they regain their health soon. We appreciate the swift rescue and relief operations undertaken by the local administration and the people who came forward to help the victims in this hour of crisis. We urge the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of this tragic accident and take necessary measures to ensure passenger safety on our highways to prevent such incidents in the future. लेह में सोनम वांगचुक की गिरफ्तारी भारत जैसे लोकतंत्र के लिए बहुत ही खेद जनक है। हम इस गिरफ्तारी की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करते हैं हमारा यह मानना है कि इस तरह आम जनता की आवाज को और उनसे किए गए वादों को सत्ता की ताकत के जरिए दबाना लोकतंत्र पर सीधा-सीधा हमला है। सोनम वांगचुक पर राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा अधिनियम का लागू किया जाना बहुत ही शर्मनाक है यह दर्शाता है कि सत्ता में बैठे लोग आम जनता की आवाज और उनके विरोध से कितना डरे हुए हैं । जब किसी लोकतांत्रिक देश में न्याय के लिए आवाज उठाने वाले और शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से संघर्ष करने वाले बेगुनाह और साहसी लोगों को जेलों में डाला जाने लगे और जेलों में उनकी संख्या बढ़ती जाए तो यह इस बात का संकेत है कि अब देश की जनता एक बड़े सामाजिक व राजनीतिक परिवर्तन के लिए तैयार हो रही है । दुनिया का इतिहास हमको यह सिखाता है की जिसने भी अपनी राजनीतिक सत्ता के दंभ में अंधा होकर आम जनता को दबाने की कोशिश की तो वह कुछ समय के लिए तो कामयाब होता हुआ नजर आता है लेकिन वह अगर अपना रवैया न बदले और अपनी गलतियों पर पश्चाताप करके अपने अंदर सुधार करने का समय गंवा दे तो प्रकृति और उसका उसका सृष्टा एक समय के बाद उसे अपमानजनक स्थिति में पहुंचा कर भविष्य में लोगों के लिए सबक लेने का माध्यम बना देता है।
