Terrible news. Gary flew myself and @MScanlan7 around south west Queensland throughout the 2010/11 floods, including getting us in to Toowomba on the day of the tragic ‘inland tsunami’. A 24 hours etched in my memory forever. An incredible pilot and even better bloke. RIP mate.

Spent 20mins hiding in the back room of LA gym with 8 other people after we were ordered off the street by police in a low-flying helicopter declaring : “active shooter, you’re in immediate danger”. Cops got their guy. Everyone in gym totally unfazed by situation 😳
