The #Bucks are not that far off, I know it may seem like it. Hit on a top-10 (likely) pick in loaded draft. Trade Kuz and Portis for wing help. Keep Turner paired with Giannis. Rollins being legit is huge. Have other young guys Nance, Green who are role players. KPJ?

Point being, I think the #Bucks can make a lot of changes this offseason or fill some needs with trades, top-10 pick and be back to a top-6 team in the East.

@DanRShafer They don't need to shut down Giannis to lose enough games. That's going to happen obviously. However, Giannis hasn't looked like Giannis since returning from last injury. Also, what is there to compete for with like 7 gms left? #Bucks will essentially be eliminated from playoffs.

It doesn't make any practical sense for the Bucks to shut down Giannis, since they won't be able to out-tank DAL-NOP-MEM for better draft odds, and are too far behind Charlotte to make the play-in, even if he plays. All this would seem to do is needlessly irritate Giannis. Great.

@brewcitypaul Meh I would get it if he was competing for a playoff spot, but risking injury with less than 10 games to go just to compete? When he hasn't looked like himself since returning from injury? It would be foolish.

This is positioning things as Bucks want to tank and Giannis wants to compete So, if and when the split happens this summer, that’s the chasm that makes Giannis look good and the franchise needing to go in another direction Which, we may be likely going there
