With the Wolves' loss to the Thunder and LA's win over Denver, the Lakers are now up a game and a half on both teams and have the tie breaker over each of them. Two games in a row for LA vs the Rockets on Monday and Wednesday will be massive

@TrevorLane Unrelated but Minnesota is about to lose, so the Lakers will be essentially 2 1/2 games up on them if you count the tiebreaker as a game. If the Lakers can at least go .500 during the 6-game road trip, I think they'll finish no worse than the 5 seed.

*Apologies, he did have 3 straight with less than 20 right after he made his debut, he missed a game but the 3 games he played in at the end of Nov/beginning of Dec saw him score less than 20. Then he took another game off, came back, and dropped 29.

Meanwhile, LeBron James, who is already averaging a career-low 15.8 FGA (previous low was 17.6), is averaging just 12.2 FGA over his last 4 games and for the first time all season has scored less than 20 points in 3 straight. He's also averaging 2.3 steals during those 3 games & hitting 57% FG

@GraphkRaider I think the reason a lot of fans love him is Carr looks like prime Peyton Manning compared to Aaron Brooks, Josh McCown, Matt Flynn, etc. In reality, he's a middle of the pack QB when compared to his peers.
