Congrats to our baseball players who were part of the state champion 4x100m & 4x200m relays this weekend! Not only did they win both events, but they also set school records! Our next statewide award is for an athlete regardless of position. Amundson graduated from Aberdeen Central in 1969 before playing for the Iowa State Cyclones, then the NFL's Houston Oilers and Philadelphia Eagles. He is widely known for his discus throw of 211 feet, 4 inches.

Mason is a dude! Can run it with speed and power that accompanies his abilities as a receiving threat. All-around great athlete.
