@DreX_AD Something I've learned in my time on earth is that mostly, many people don't really care about things they pretend to. Many just choose sides to represent an avatar they present to the world. It's not about causes or caring. It's about being right.

There is nothing more the mainstream media wants to report than "Hundreds of US soldiers dead during Trumps brutal failed war." to rub it in Trumps face. If it were true, it would be on the cover of the NYT. So when a guy says he heard it from a source and his source is a guy named Mohammed bin Abdullah Mohammed from Pakistan, maybe take it with a grain of salt, a whole salt shaker, or all the salt in the ocean.

Hey man. I don't know shit, but if one is investing emotional capital in following and opining on politics and this leads you to a road of 1. Unfollowing friends, fam or colleagues because they liked a post you dont like or even hate. (I can't believe this a sentence that can be typed in 2026) 2. Reflexively calling someone brainwashed (the irony is calling someone brainwashed is brainwashed behavior) 3. Discounting imperfect decision making with imperfect choices 4. Saying someone who remains silent is a coward for not "speaking up" (where speaking up means posting about something lol) I would recommend time away from the phone and nice nature walk.
