A non Muslim said Islam has a foundational problem because it entered history with warfare and bloodshed. That only proves he has not studied history deeply. Almost every major civilization, empire, and religion expanded through conflict at some point including Christian kingdoms that carried out crusades, inquisitions, colonization, forced conversions, and centuries of religious wars. Yet nobody concludes Christianity itself is automatically false because of that history. Islam also spread through trade, scholarship, philosophy, culture, and human interaction across Africa and Asia long before modern borders even existed. Millions accepted it willingly without any sword at their throat. The problem is not that conflict existed in history. Conflict existed everywhere humans existed. The real problem is people selectively applying one standard to Islam and another standard to every other religion and civilization.

That logic falls apart instantly when applied consistently. Christianity had crusades, inquisitions, witch burnings, slavery justifications, and religious terrorism for centuries. Yet Christians reinterpreted many old doctrines and adapted to modern values. Nobody says every Christian today supports those things. The question is not “can extremists quote scripture?” Every extremist can. The real question is: can followers evolve beyond ancient interpretations? And no, reformation does not automatically mean a religion is false. It means human understanding changes with time. Medicine evolves. Laws evolve. Societies evolve. Yet some people think religious interpretation must stay frozen forever because people in the 7th century already figured out everything for humanity. A religion claiming perfection does not mean every interpretation, culture, scholar, or medieval legal ruling built around it is perfect forever.

There is nothing wrong with Islam. But truth be told… a lot of Muslims desperately need a reformation. The religion isn’t the problem. The 7th-century mindset in 2026 is.

You’re listing individual concepts, not the full system. Monotheism existed before Islam. Charity existed before Islam. Fasting existed before Islam. Nobody denied that. The challenge was: name ONE religion before Islam that combined ALL of it into the same structured system Islam has. You still can’t. And “Islam copied Judaism” makes no sense when Christianity also inherited from Judaism. By that logic, Christianity copied too.
