Birds come up a little short today. Proud of the way the boys battled. Back at home on Wednesday, 4:15 game.

Birds bounce back and pickup a road win vs Streator. Weyant with another solid start 5inn, 7 hit, 2ER, 5K’s. Edwards gets the win on relief 2inn, 1hit, 0ER, 2K’s. Sauder and Nee lead the offense with 2 hits each.

Birds fall to Mt. Zion, ending the streak. Back at it tomorrow, @ Streator, 4:30. The offense managed 10 hits but came up short. Smith had 3 hits, Young and Swanson add 2 hits each.

Birds extend their wings streak to 10 games with a sweep of Limestone. Petri pick up his 6th win, Edwards with the save. Jones leads the offense with a pair of hits and 4 RBI’s. Smith collects 2 more hits.

Birds win at home vs Limestone extending their win streak to 9 games. Sauder picks up the win, Adams with another save. Smith picks up 2 hits and drops a 💣 to dead center.

From Metamora: 1B Eli Young (@MTHS_Baseball, 2027) shoots a ball back up the middle for an RBI single. Metamora leads 1-0 heading into the second inning.

From Metamora: DH Saul Swanson (@MTHS_Baseball, 2027) rips a liner to the left side to drive in two runs to highlight a four-run inning. Metamora leads 5-0 heading into the sixth inning.

Birds beat a very good Champaign Central team today, extend their win streak to 8. Total team effort. Swanson & Young each with 2 RBI’s. Jones gets the win, Edwards picks up the save. Back at it Monday at home.

Birds win streak extended to 7 games after winning at Lincoln. Weyant gets the win going 5 solid innings. Smith stays hot collecting 4 hits and 5 rbi’s. Jones with a pair of hits including a 💣. Petri, Young and Crotz each with 2 hits. Edwards & Adams solid in relief.

Birds complete the sweep vs Pekin. Petri was terrific allowing 1 hit over 6 innings, striking out 10. Edwards strikes out the side in his inning of relief. Smith collected 2 hits and 2 rbi lead the offense. The Birds stole 7 bases on their way to victory.

Birds win on the road vs Pekin. Sauder and Adams combine for a 2 hit shutout, striking out 17. Petri, Smith, Swanson and Jones each with 2 hits. Jones drops another 💣.

Today’s home game vs Pekin is rained out and rescheduled for Thursday @ 7pm Setting up a busy week for the Birds as they will play Wed,Thurs, Fri, and Saturday.

Birds sweep today’s DH vs Moline. Game 1 Weyant gets the win, 6inn, 6k, 2runs. Adams picks up the save. Saul Swanson drives in the winning run in game 1 with a 3B. In game 2 Swanson picks up the win in extra innings after driving in the winning run in the 8th have a day👊

Birds sweep Canton. Jones drops 2 💣 and Petri tosses another gem.

Soph’s win on the road vs Richwoods 11-1. Freshmen win on the road vs Canton 14-0.

Birds win on the road vs Canton. Sauder goes 6 innings giving up 2 hits, striking out 9. Adams closes the door with a clean 7th. Offense was led by Smith 3 hits, Petri adds 2hits.
