Last week, Speaker Ler was invited to the White House to witness President Trump sign the Beautiful Clean Coal executive order. The order strengthens national defense by prioritizing long term, reliable power for military bases and mission critical facilities. Baseload energy and grid security are national security issues and Montana coal is part of that solution. While in Washington, Speaker Ler also spoke with Secretary Doug Burgum and Speaker Mike Johnson about American energy leadership and the recent APR bison ruling and its implications for the state. Montana energy matters, and Montana House Republicans will continue fighting for policies that keep our nation secure and our economy strong.
