My lab is funded exclusively by taxpayer's money. Zero product is made that is sold for profit. Particularly this time of the year when it gets cold, I think about unhoused individuals and how many people can be fed with what I expend for research. Not a minute should be wasted.

@MarcosArrut As a scientist, i am an optimist. I earned a PhD in aging biology and i would say let’s not mislead people. We don’t have compelling evidence yet to call aging is a disease. The current state of aging literature has no indication that we can cure aging and make humans immortal.
