Who says you can't do #STEAM projects on a Jamboard? Here's how your students can creatively design a virtual Rube Goldberg Machine, animate, and present it. Let me know if you're interested in using it. Thoughts? *Students can work in pairs to collaborate on a frame.

In case someone else was wondering. If you are using Google Classroom and want to share a Google Slides file (a weekly planner for example) in present mode (File > Publish to the web), you can share it as Material, and when Ss click on it, it will open in presentation mode.

@BMcClelland24 @ericcurts @JakeMillerTech Last year I always had to “remove student” for one of my students to leave at the end of our session. She could never find the button to leave. The next day, she was always able to sign back in, and I always used the same nickname.

Good morning! #GoogleMeet question: It's saying that if we force remove a student, they cannot return. Just checking that it's only for that particular session and won't affect future sessions. We're using the "nickname" route for domain privacy. @ericcurts @JakeMillerTech

@MrsAWills @TraciPiltz @ShaundelK @KSzajner You can always start the Meet with the same nickname (ex. your last name). As long as you start the Meet with that nickname, students logged in within the same school email domain will be able to access it. Best part - they can't get in until you've created the Meet.

@giftedgem @GiftedTawk @hayes_melisa @dailystem @MaenTeacher @STEMTasticScien Flipgrid is perfect for them to videotape their finished product and narrate what/how they did it. If you just want a photo to see what they've done it, they can use the Google Classroom app to attach a picture of the finished product to an assignment.

I usually dismiss Ss from zoom so they can work independently. However, I stick around in case Ss want to stay in the call or log back on with questions w/ this image shared so there is no confusion (because there is always a lot of confusion with middle schoolers 😅).
