@InvictaOrtho That knot is also great as an intermediate knot in continuous stitches on long incisions, since you end up with one strand, which you can continue stitching with..

Dear brains-trust of #MedTwitter and #orthotwitter. My little side project is starting to cost real money. Each day the traffic is going up, and im starting to wince. Ideas on keeping it financially viable? Advertising? Paywall? Kill it? Other opinions?

@traumaticum Yep, just make sure they dont add it to you income from the hospital / other income. Also easier to apply for grants with a Verein probably. Should be some grants for that? Regional, foundations?

@MTemmesfeld You can make an amount of € before having to pay tax if that income stream is a low earner.
I also have the flexibility to “move operations” to Australia if it’s more convenient
