@CMAgovUK Is it right that a private company can maintain a grip over its customers and charge whatever they like when there is no way the customers can leave? Unlike gas utilities where you can move to another provider you’re unable to change water PLC companies. Why is that?

@YorkshireWater Quite some time ago electric cars would only have a short range and took ages to charge. However with investment they have almost managed to have to same range as petrol engines. So it is with this in mind that I do not accept you reply on energy intensive and high carbon level.

@MToddington than alternatives such as groundwater schemes or leakage control. Desalination has a high carbon cost as it is very energy intensive, and it generates high concentration saline waste which can have environmental impacts. ~ Molly 4/4

@YorkshireWater Is a 15% reduction over 5YEARS something to be proud of? Really? Maybe if top brass bonuses were given for actual improvements and not just because then maybe you could invest in both workforce to fix them quicker and invest in desalination. It isn’t as though we’re landlocked.

I said I would stop fans from being ripped off by ticket touts. I am. Today, my government set out plans to cap resale prices and ban ticket hoarding so fans can see the acts they love at a fair price.
