Noted by the NRC, the Antlerless only requirement for the Independence and Liberty Hunt starting in 2025 has had an outpouring of support to reverse the decision. It will be taken under consideration.

Next up, info on the Mentored Hunting Program. An MUCC sponsored bill expanding hunting access to those with disabilities.

From the fisheries division is Lucas Nathan speaking on the Fisheries Order Recommendations.

The Law Enforcement Division Lifesaving awards are now being presented to CO Joe Deppen, and CO Kris Kiel.

The first award of the morning, the Shikar Safari Officer of the Year Award is being presented to Conservation Officer Joseph Deppen.

With the conclusion of the Fisheries presentation, the whole agenda will now begin.

To begin the NRC meeting, the Fisheries committee is giving a presentation on the Southeast Michigan Fisheries.

The amendment would allow for individuals to have the choice to carry the electronic federal duck stamp instead of the physical stamp. What are your thoughts on having the choice of an electronic versus a physical stamp?

Being awarded the Parks and Recreation Division Lifesaving Award is the South Higgins Lake State Park Staff consisting of Royce Goulette, Joel Kubiak, and Mairen Lang.
