Tell that to his agents. You're naive if you think they can still get £70m for him if and when they get relegated. Of course they'd take a £12m profit. They need to raise around £100m through player sales, and half the squad will be looking to leave because they won't want to play in the Championship. This isn't a world where smaller relegated clubs can just name any price they want and expect someone to pay it.

@shankers73 @FrankEra_ No, I meant that in a good way. I think one Tier 1 signing and two Tier 2 signings would be pretty much the perfect midfield window for us right now. Not too convinced by the Tier 3 options though, if I'm being honest.
