At the game yesterday in the away end at St James’ Park I had a strange incident just after kick-off. I’d literally just finished putting my flag up and was squeezing past a few lads on the steps as the aisles were busy. One lad grabbed my hand and accused me of trying to pickpocket him. I told him straight away I wasn’t, I was just trying to get by and back to my seat. He didn’t believe me and then followed me into the concourse where he swung for me. Stewards stepped in and I walked away so I’m not sure what happened after. Just putting this out there in case the lad sees it today, I absolutely was not trying to pickpocket anyone. I go home and away with United every week and would never do anything like that. I dont need anyone else's money or whatever they may have in their pockets, Im a fairly successful businessman and just enjoy my United days, normally with my young lad. No hard feelings though, emotions run high and people do have a drink at the match, But I just wanted to clear that up. If anyone knows the lad or if you’re on here, drop me a message. Happy to clear it up properly. Shit night, Shit result.
