@1990sUtd @MU_ST Not really. It’s just a reasonable thing that the club have actually listened to one of the many suggestions we put their way. Are we perfect? No. Do we get frustrated like you? Yep. Do we try and represent you lot? Yep. Can’t get it right all the time but we try. Boy do we try.

Hilarious to see @MU_ST are now basically the marketing division of the Glazer family 🤡🤡🤡 The same people who led you up the garden path in 2005 screaming "Not one penny" 🙄

@Salou977 @southmcrredsM33 @chrisrumfitt I admire that stance. But some folk choose to drink inside the ground - it’s a choice right? People’s ideas of not giving them a penny differ, and that argument is an old one and obv not meaning to bring it up - but I do admire your stance, nice one 👍🏻

@Salou977 @southmcrredsM33 @chrisrumfitt Yep, totally get that. The context here is getting people in early so they don’t have to queue for ages which they are doing at the moment at some doors. So cheaper beer might work. If you don’t want to give them anything at all, fair dos, can understand that.

@ralphmilne It’s because it’s in our blood Stan, sadly! 😊. I do agree with your sentiment though, it should feel better than this.

@MUFamilyStand I took my lad in the family stand from its opening in 1986 it was sponsored by Panini and although we weren’t playing particularly well my son loved it reading the above statement from our treacherous owners makes me wonder why anyone still bothers

Family Stand Update: MUFC sent comms to all ST holders who were moved from Stretty to Nth Stand in March 2020, saying we’d continue to pay (lower) Stretty prices until our child “migrates out” of the FS. This is when they reach 16. They’ve now rowed back on that position.

@kick_in_grass @Drasdo Not great, I agree. You can understand why they’ve had to make decisions - I totally get that - because the club wasn’t run sustainably before, but to row back on a promise feels a little bit different.

@MUFamilyStand @Drasdo Utd are doing everything to piss off a loyal fanbase and all because of the club’s total incompetence and inability to run the club properly on things like transfers & player wages. Frankly, Utd do not deserve to have ANY season ticket holders. Disgraceful.

@MUFamilyStand Thanks for all the work you done pal. I found my email earlier with the increase. I challenged them today over the adult £12 increase and he was shocked to hear how much it was. Shows how sly the club are

@j_davies2801 I know. If I’m removing myself from the emotion of it, I can see why they don’t want 2 people sat next to each other paying different prices, but a promise is a promise, and although it was made by people who are no longer at the club, I’m disappointed it hasn’t been honoured.

How can you go from £41 game for an adult to £53 a game. It’s over a 29% increase. Kids have also gone up to £13 a game which is still reasonable. But what isn’t reasonable is a £13 a game increase for both. Pricing fans out, not that they care

So, all in all, a lesson in how not to do comms by the club, really. As I say, we’ve pushed them so hard on this, it’s gone to the top of the leadership team & although we don’t agree with their position, we’ve done everything to argue your corner. Thanks, Dave.

The pricing discrepancy is an indication of what this year’s renewal prices would look like (ie. once the moving discount had been lifted), which were stated in last year’s email. This year’s actual renewal prices are actually higher than stated a year ago in the email.
