The failure to provide promised support for Palestinian students is disheartening. In 2022 when the Invasion of Ukraine began, @MemorialU acted quickly to provide $7,500 per student, and then followed it up with $14,000 per student in additional support the following year.

Todays Remembrance Day vigil hosted by @MUNStudents4pal commemorated all victims of war and called for an end to violence in Gaza and Lebanon.

@MUNStudents4pal says that MUN is “failing to honour commitments it’s made to students,” and plans a sit in at the Arts and Administration building on November 13th at noon.

The white poppy is a symbol of remembrance and commitment to peace. On Thursday November 7th join us and learn how to crochet your own white poppy for our upcoming November 11th vigil.
