Highspots owner Michael Bochicchio says he found out about the canceled Ricochet vs Leon Slater match through the internet, and that Dave Meltzer knew the match was canceled before he or Ricochet and Leon’s agent did! He says that Leon was not going to lose the match, so it wasn’t a matter of “protecting TNA talent” and the entire purpose was for Leon to raise his profile during WM weekend. He also says that Carlos Silva only contacted him once the new main event was announced, asking if he would like to talk, and Carlos Silva still has not talked to him about pulling the match to this day.
