Rubber squeaky toy designer and creator, Edward L. Mobley, created over 300 sculps over the span of 12 years in the 50s and 60s. See this exclusive collection of authentic midcentury toys in "Rubber Menagerie: The Squeaky Toys of Edward Mobley" on display through Oct. 27th.

19th-century Americans and Europeans spared no expense for the deceased. Burials were elaborate, including extravagant decoration like these beaded arrangements known as “immortelles." Few remain intact today, as they often disintegrated after being left outside at gravesites.
