Mount Vernon CS 🚂

Mount Vernon Community School students and staff were briefly evacuated due to a report of the smell of gas.

Today, Mon, Aug. 28, 2023, incoming phone lines are currently down at Mount Vernon Community School. We are working to address this issue and will provide an update when more information is available. Please check the website for updates: mvcs.acps.k12.va.us

We are thrilled to share that Jennifer Hamilton has been selected as our new principal! Ms. Hamilton has a long history with @ACPSk12, joining the division back in 2012, and most recently coordinating the ACPS Dual Language Program. Congratulations Ms. Hamilton!
