Illinois St. scored 4 early & 5 in the 6th on its way to a 10-4 win over Belmont. The Redbirds have won 8 straight. Brayden Bakes doubled & drove in 3. Payton McHarg homered. Graham Mastros had 3 hits & Luke Stulga 2 RBIs. Landon Godsey HR, 2 runs, and 2 RBIs for Belmont.

Indiana St. evened its series vs. Bradley, 8-3. ISU SS Nomar Garcia had 3 hits, 2 RBIs, and a run scored in the win. Carter Beck, Caden Miller, and Colin Sander all had 2 hits each for ISU. Ty Brooks fanned 5 over 7 IP to go 4-0. Luke Skinner & Landon Lowe had 2 hits each for BU.

Murray State edged Valparaiso, 3-1, overcoming Connor Lockwood's CG for Valpo. Lockwood went 8 innings on 87 pitches, but 3 Racer pitchers combined to allow 0 ER with 4 walks and 6 Ks. Kris Hokenson and Kainen Jorge each had 2 hits for Murray State, which goes for a sweep today.

In Chicago, have a day, Jake Busson. He homered to win Game 1 of UIC's DH vs. SIU, then homered and hit a walk-off single to earn the sweep and win the series. Vidal Colon homered and drove in 3 in the 1st game. Jacob McKenzie homered and had 5 RBIs for SIU in the nightcap.

In the only non-MVC game, Cal Baptist beat Evansville, 10-3. CBU only led 4-2 after 6 but broke it open late. Charlie Longmeier and Aaron Nehls had 2 hits each for the Aces (5-16). Tanner Graham gave up 3 runs on 7 hits over 5 innings with 4 Ks and 1 BB in a solid 1st NCAA start.
