Evan is 18, a native Washingtonian, obtained his #NREMT during his Senior year of High School, and now attends Georgetown. He found #Morningside looking for an opportunity to grow in a city that offers a lot of wonderful programs - but nothing like us. #civility

10 years ago today @mvfd27 became a 100% Volunteer Department 100% of the time. This meant adopting it all, incorporating EMS into our organization, and a complete restructure. The attached image is our current and past chiefs that supported this completely. #Morningside

Got a chance to drive the wagon, spotted a hydrant and got a static pressure reading on a run, the basics matter. Then got to meet Levi and introduce him to a hydrant and hose. #Morningside

Back in the saddle of Rescue Squad 27 tonight and after a few warm up runs - off we went to this incident. Great teamwork with #Truck21 and the #SouthSideRescueCompany tonight to quickly extricate a victim.
Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department@PGFDNews

Approx 10:35pm #PGFD units were dispatched to the 2100 block of Brooks Dr in Suitland for a motor vehicle collision w/entrapment. On scene crews extricated 1 patient. 1 patient transported w/life threatening injuries by @MDSP Trooper 2, 2nd patient transported w/LTI by #PGFD.
