Congratulations to Davidson Women’s Lacrosse — 2026 A-10 Champions for the first time in program history. The Wildcats rally from a 3-goal halftime deficit to defeat VCU 10–5, clinching the title at home in Davidson. First women’s team title for Davidson in the Atlantic 10.

Sources: The NCAA has initiated the final steps to expand the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments to 76 teams. The expansion is on track to be formalized in the upcoming weeks, with mid-May as the target. The 76-team tournaments begin next year. espn.com/mens-college-b…

Davidson sophomore transfer Manie Joses has committed to Hawaii, he announced on Instagram.

😼⚫️🔴 Tom Stoiber has committed to Davidson. The 20-year-old, 6-8 forward from Germany currently plays for the Nürnberg Falcons in Germany’s ProA division. He’s also represented Germany at the FIBA U19 World Cup and U18 EuroBasket.

Davidson freshman Devin Brown has transferred to Notre Dame, he announced on Instagram.

Janowski’s former coach, Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg, on his game: “Nick is a kid who flat-out puts the ball in the basket. He can play multiple positions. He can play the point… The thing I love about Nick is he’s one of the most competitive players I’ve ever coached.”

😼🔴⚫️ Davidson has earned a commitment from Nick Janowski. The Wildcats land the 6-4, 205-pound guard from St. Thomas, the reigning Summit League Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-Summit League selection (16.1 PPG). The redshirt freshman began his career at Nebraska.

😼🔴⚫️ Davidson has earned a commitment from John Carter Jr. Carter spent four years at Navy, last playing in 2022 before being deployed. The 6-4 guard represented Team USA in Armed Forces basketball overseas and has one year of eligibility remaining from COVID.

On Stephen Curry: “He’s just a great guy. Obviously he’s elevated this program in a number of ways. We’re not in the A-10 without him, not in the facility…” Davidson can’t say thank you enough to him. “We’re not here without the Curry and Berman families.”

On team bonding: Talked about a planned summer trip to Berlin. Sam Brown and Hunter Adam both noted how much last year’s trip helped with chemistry and connection.

🧵 Davidson GM Austin Buntz shared some thoughts on Davidson basketball in the modern era. On next year: “I’ll say this, we’re really excited. I think we have a chance to be really good next year despite the losses we’ve had in the portal.”
