The pass shouldn't have been made there, should have been cleared by Jones. But let's not excuse the piss poor kick from Alisson. He should have just put his foot through it. I've been critical of his kicking all season and this is just another example

@tomellis10 I actually rate him, when he’s on it, he’s very good. He just does things like that sometimes that baffle me. I don’t get what he thought would be the best case scenario of giving Alisson the ball there.

Don’t clear it yourself Curtis. Play it back to the keeper who’s 5 yards away from you as he’s getting closed down. Just a mental decision
