Honestly, at least everyone is starting to appreciate Troy (2004), one of the best movies of all time. I have watched that movie over 100 times and it is still one of the best films I have ever seen. Incredibly underrated.

This is just an irredemably bad decision by Nolan. And it's surprising given that in his other films, he doesn't disregard contextual accuracy to please the woke crowd.
If Troy existed in Africa, not Asia Minor, this choice would make sense. But it doesn't.

Troy was so good. But you have to realize people at the time thought this was a B movie. The Lord of the Rings movies had just come out. Gladiator was only a few years old. Pirates of the Caribbean was the year before. We just thought movies would be good forever.

This is how liberals argue.
Take two totally different things, point out the one superficial legalistic similarity between them, and then use that to argue that they're actually one and the same.
George Washington and "Wajahat Ali" do not have the same claim to the United States of America, and no one has the patience anymore to try to explain to you why, because they understand that these sorts of claims are never made in good faith but rather are employed to try to dissolve the very concept of America itself.
Absolutely no one would try to argue that Americans or the British in the late 18th century had a right to move en masse into India, Pakistan, Africa, or the Middle East and colonize it for their own kin.
And we know this because the Left has argued for 80 years straight that Rhodesia belonged to the Zimbabweans, that Gaza belongs to the Palestinians, that the Indian subcontinent belongs to the Pakistanis, Indians, and Bangladeshis, and so forth.
It's only America that gets to be an open borders economic zone for Third World transplants. The Third World itself gets to have Lib-endorsed blood and soil nationalism, while Americans get no country of their own.

Here’s the deal: Abigail Spanberger, Don Scott, Louise Lucas and all their friends knowingly violated the Virginia Constitution.
They purposefully violated clear constitutional procedures to deceive voters, capping off their master deception with ballot language meant to confuse everyone.
They strongly argued for the VA Supreme Court to “wait” until after the referendum so their flood of money from national democrats could fund their brazen dishonesty and trick voters to “restore fairness”, and then claim “the will of the people” when the VA Supreme Court would undoubtedly strike down their unconstitutional attempt to disenfranchise millions of Virginians.
It’s a disgusting disregard for Virginians, the Constitution and a flagrant violation of their oath of office.
