Todays Skills USA update in Atlanta has Ryan going through orientation to start his contest and Mason has been busy collecting and trading state pens (zoom in and look at his lanyard.)

The guys are getting ready to compete at the National Skills USA contest in Atlanta, Ga.

Welding Ss went on a field trip to tour local manufacturing businesses. They traveled to North Texas Pressure Vessels, American Medical Response (AMR), Antenna Products & CanTex. Antenna Products was also fed the students lunch! Thanks for allowing our students to visit!

Ss in drone program took a field trip to Cantrell Buzbee Ranch to get in flight time. Mr Buzbee talked about drone industry/careers, provided demonstrations, & encouraged Ss while working on their flight skills. (Ts were able to play too 😁). It was hot 😅 but we had a great time

Congratulations to our SkillsUSA students who were recognized at the school board meeting tonight! They will be headed to Atlanta, Georgia this summer to compete at the national level.
