History comes alive through hearing the stories of those who lived it. Words cannot describe our appreciation for Mr. Eisen sharing his Holocaust experience. #empathy #History #Holocaust @lyoungteach @SCDSB_Schools

Thank you @MWiancko for bringing Max Eisen to our class via video conference. Mr. Eisen was a Holocaust survivor who brought to us his story and the message of forgiveness and resilience. “It starts with words....” @SCDSB_Schools @OSSAnnouncement @pbowmanSCDSB

The Battle of Vimy Ridge, fought from April 9 to 12 1917, was a significant victory for the Canadian Corps. Over time, it became more than a battle. This sculpture is named The Spirit of Sacrifice, one of the virtues depicted at the Vimy Memorial. #VimyRidge #LestWeForget

Sometimes when reflecting on your practices, the question is as simple as - would you want to be a student in your classroom?
