Nonsense. This was obviously to appease the Duterte supporters and protect his candidates’ election chances. It fooled no one. Instead of making him look like a statesman, he ended up looking like a petty politician.

BBM must be praised. He was almost a statesman BBM did the right thing in cooperating with the ICC. Pity that politics had to get in the way of this act of statesmanship. BBM lied claiming that he arrested Duterte only because he was “obliged” to cooperate with the Interpol.
