@sufferingspurs Its also shows how 90% of football managers are fucking clueless and blagging it. Winning at football is a formula, its not the manager, but yet managers get bigged up for winning. Unless the rare special ones.

I think Rosenior is a perfect example of why managers are actually incredibly important. This is exactly the same Chelsea squad that Maresca had, yet they look like completely different people. The Chelsea we played in November were genuinely excellent, as bad as we were. They could have won 5 or 6-0 that day. That Chelsea performance against Brighton was on par with some of Spurs worst of the season. FYI - We kept hold of our manager for nearly 4 more months despite performances like that every other week

🛑 Absolute disgrace! Morrisons have just sacked a loyal manager after 29 years for doing what anyone would do, stopping a violent shoplifter who was spitting at him! Sean Egan is 46 and has been with Morrisons in Aldridge near Walsall since he was just 17. When this serial thief turned nasty, started spitting repeatedly and reached for his bag, Sean stepped in. He grabbed the thug’s arm and took him down to protect his staff and the customers. And what did Morrisons do? They sacked him for breaking their pathetic “deter not detain” policy. Now he’s barely scraping by, last pay packet was back in January and his family are devastated. All because he wouldn’t just stand there and let criminals run wild. This is what Britain has come to. Hard-working people get punished, while the shoplifters get protected. Staff are left wide open while these big companies hide behind their woke health and safety rules. Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp called it shameful, and he’s spot on. Retailers should be backing their staff, not throwing them under the bus. When did standing up for yourself and your workplace become a sackable offence? Shame on you Morrisons, shame on all of you!
