I keep hearing people tell me how expensive space is. How its such a frivolous waste. Its utter nonsense.
SLS/Orion is basically the most expensive rocket currently flying, and even using that as a yardstick, the UK government throws money away at a far larger scale.

An official petition calling for a public inquiry into pro-Israel influence on politics & democracy has been growing rapidly. The petition is nearing 10,000 signatures at the time of this post, where by the government will be forced to respond. Where Crossrail (Lizzy Line) stations went land value skyrocketed.
Other countries capture the uplift in land value created by new transport infrastructure to pay for that transport infrastructure.
There’s no reason why Crossrail 2 can’t be largely self funding. Let’s build it.
