Yesterday the staff and patients at WICU took part in exercise groups to celebrate National Exercise Day as part of National Falls Week. Standing and seated group sessions were completed plus a home hazards quiz and falls bingo session. #YHFalls

Dehydration could be a factor that increases a persons risk of falling. Encourage people to drink both in hospital and in their own homes. Assistance should be offered if required. Remember to complete your daily hydration assessments and monitor as required 🥛☕️🧃💦 #ThinkFalls
