In his annual Newroz address PDKI leader Mustafa Hijri declared that the Islamic Republic has reached the point of irreversible collapse, and that Iran’s oppressed nations now stand before a historic opportunity to reshape the country’s political future. Hijri characterized the new year as a turning point defined by the regime’s military humiliation with the US and Israel, a war that exposed the regime’s inability to protect even its own leadership, resulting in the killing of senior IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists, the destruction of its nuclear facilities, and the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This, Hijri argued, pushed the regime into an entirely new and terminal phase. Domestically, Hijri condemned what he called the regime’s “economy of repression”, diverting resources to security and intelligence budgets while the economy collapsed and tens of thousands of protesters were killed, wounded, and imprisoned during nationwide winter uprisings. He also highlighted the Iranian Kurdistan general strike as a landmark Kurdish political achievement, sending an unequivocal message of defiance over the killing of Kurdish civilians and expressing solidarity with the broader Iranian protest movement. On the strategic horizon, Hijri articulated the PDKI’s vision of a federal, democratic Iran that guarantees national rights and equal participation for all peoples, declaring that the era of centralism has failed. He reaffirmed the PDKI’s readiness for joint struggle with Iran’s oppressed nations and freedom-seeking forces to accelerate the regime’s fall. Closing with an invocation of Newroz as a symbol of resistance and renewal, Hijri expressed hope that the new year would prove to be a Newroz of liberation.

خبرگزاری‌های حکومتی صبح پنجشنبه و در آخرین روز سال ۱۴۰۴ اعلام کردند که سه معترض بازداشت‌شده در جریان انقلاب ملی ایرانیان در دی‌ماه امسال، اعدام شده‌اند. براساس این گزارش‌ها، مهدی قاسمی، صالح محمدی و سعید داوودی ۱۸ دی‌ماه بازداشت شده بودند. خبرگزاری‌های حکومتی مطابق الگوی تکراری پرونده‌سازی برای مردم ایران مدعی شده‌اند که آنها اقدام علیه امنیت ملی انجام داده و محارب بودند. این درحالی است که عوامل سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی هزاران نفر از مردم ایران را در ۱۸ و ۱۹ دی‌ماه با شلیک مستقیم به سر، گردن و اعضای حیاتی کشتند و پیکرهای آنها را با کامیون به فضا‌های باز و باشگاه‌های ورزشی انتقال دادند و خانواده آنها را برای روزها در جستجوی عزیزانشان سرگردان کردند. جمهوری اسلامی در دی ماه، هزاران نفر دیگر را هم بازداشت و هزاران ایرانی دیگر را مجروح کرد.
