@TyVanDusen7 Saying the position didn't matter is asinine. Finishing 5th puts you likely drafting at 7. The difference between 7 and 4 is massive. Especially this year.
Added the Dibiase/Honky LJNs via @M_Halv to the shelf and had put the LaToonie Macho Man toy commercial on display above. It also bumped some loose Bex to the top shelf. As always, some great podcasts represented front and center

What an incredible day…I’ve been able to add two very cool LJNs that have thus far eluded me, to my collection, thanks to the one and only @M_Halv Incredible work by an even better guy. I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve such generosity. Thank you Mark! 👊🏻
@flamesfever Correct me if I'm wrong. I genuinely don't know if I'm right. Statistically if the flames finish at 31 they will most likely pick 4th, then 3rd, then 2nd, and 13.5% of the time 1st. Some call me a pessimist, I call me a realist. I'm mentally preparing for 4th but hoping for highe
Let's say you want to raise to $26. You can raise here, because if you make it $26 to win $57, your raise does not need to work all that often.
26 divided by 57 is 0.456. So your raise here as a complete bluff needs to work about 46% of the time.
Now, many people say you should not raise here because you are not getting value from worse, and you are not getting much better to fold.
But that ignores the fact that there are three different reasons to bet or raise at any time.
You could be value betting, in which case you are trying to get weaker hands to call.
You could be bluff betting, in which case you are trying to get better hands to fold.
And this is the third reason to raise or bet, which is to deny equity.
Your opponent, if you just call here, has a lot of bluff equity and drawing equity. A lot of hands have flush draws and straight draws headed to the river.
Additionally, your opponent knows with that flush draw out there, it is likely you would raise your straights and some sets to defend yourself versus dangerous rivers.
Therefore, they can keep firing at you on the river.
Do not fall for these stupid small donk bets versus bad players.
This is really likely to be one mediocre pair that doesn't want to be pressured.
Raise and take the pot down now.
In the actual spot, that is exactly what happened. I raised to $26, and this player folded.
Hey everybody... In this hand, you’re playing $1/$2 no-limit hold’em online. You’re playing six-max, and you have $200 in front of you.
It gets folded to you in the cutoff, and you raise with A♠ K♣.
It folds to the small blind, who calls. The big blind folds.
The flop comes 2♥ 3♥ 6♠. The small blind checks, and you continuation bet $4 into $14. The small blind calls.
The turn is the 4♦.
Now the small blind leads $9 into the $22 pot. There is $31 out there, and you have $190 back.
What would you like to do with your hand here?
