@Wesley_James 2/2 and you need to ensure it doesn't impact the experience of the people not willing to contribute. I personally would look for other bits of funding first before going down this route though.

@Wesley_James 1/2 To be fair, a lot of channels are starting to do this so I understand the thinking. As he said, it's not mandatory you would just need to make sure the benefits are worthwhile. Would need far more than a Prize Draw and a donation to HF to get people to sign up in my opinion.

@silkblue01234 @ItsBen1988 @KHFC111 Completely understand if he decided to find a club in that direction. Macc on the way up as well. Still ends up being probably the best keeper at the level (although he's definitely one of the better ones at National League as well) worrying if its because we can't pay the same.

@kiddyguest Agreed, Holdsworth is so key and just shows how well run everything is now. Also means Lane can focus on the purchase of Aggborough and the rest of the growth infrastructure which therefore gives us more revenue streams into the club. Looks positive!

Impressed with this interview. Seems more realistic this time & knows the challenges ahead. Hopefully the experience last time will help everyone achieve survival next season and we can build the club season by season.

We just had an absolute horrendous record on 4G pitches last year, there are plenty in the NLN. Think we only once or twice on 4G. Was part of the reason we had to come 3rd to avoid Macclesfield away. Probably a fluke, but had to mention it! 😂

@KiddyFor @BarrowAFC @khfcofficial @AFCFylde Think that's the main thing isn't it, feels like history could repeat itself if he makes a similar start to the season just gone, but this time we'll be in the relegation zone and not around the playoffs. Really is a shame but that's football.

A shame he’d rather take this perceived shortcut to more medals than try and build at Kiddy. Perhaps wary of what happened when he took @AFCFylde into the NL and he won two games in fifteen.

@SteveTheScout1 Main concern is though based on what he's done at previous roles is that he will now come for our players. We have a few Manchester based so I'm expecting some bad news there as well... Tough couple of weeks ahead after such a happy few days!!

Unfortunately sometimes money talks in football. But not for everyone i can remember when Darrell Clarke was managing us (Bristol Rovers) in league one and turned down the opportunity to manage Leeds United in the championship which at the time would of made probably 6 times plus the amount he was earning with Rovers.
Is a shame he's left after literally just gaining promotion with Kiddie might be a move he regrets further down the line.

After getting promoted with Kidderminster I am surprised Adam Murray has left the club to go to Barrow in the same league? Arguably a smaller club. Interested to know what sort of wage increase/player wage budget he's got and surely Kidderminster would have been able to match it?

@SteveTheScout1 Completely agree Steve, listening to the interviews, seems he had an opportunity to move before when at Fylde and turned it down and then got sacked not long after so potentially he's feeling like history could repeat itself with the budgets we have available. Only an opinion!
