A hallucination agreed upon by everyone is agreed reality. Agreed reality is a curtain. The biggest pain comes to those, able to see what’s behind the curtain as it flutters in the mild cool breeze of sadhana, and you realise what is behind the curtain is the actual reality, concrete and unmoving. But you are born into the agreed reality, you cannot quit the agreed reality nor dump it, to chase after what’s behind the curtains, not without incurring great karmic debts. You must play the role that destiny assigned you. While always knowing the role is a mere figment of everyone’s collective imagination, and every time you reach for the curtains, move the curtains to have your fill, you risk losing your grip on the collective hallucinations that your life on this planet is. But Here is the beauty of trying to attain what lies behind the curtains, the one behind the curtain gives you something that will keep you going just so you do not tear the curtain every time you try to move it. An example, You stop chasing that promotion, chase what’s behind the curtains, without quitting the purpose of your birth(in this example, your job), you suddenly get something bigger than that promotion to keep your life in front of the curtains going… at exceptional pace. With greater vigour. Go about your life, but never forget what lies behind those curtains. Never forget that… that is your ultimate destination, but everyone will not reach that. Not until you realise you are chasing the curtain and not what’s behind it. The more you chase the curtain it moves away faster, also with it moves what’s behind it. Shamashana Kaalika and I. The drunk workers, heaved half burnt piles of bones after bones, flesh still sticking to some. Piling it all up, in a corner, to clear the burners for the fresh entrants. Bones, that up until recently carried upon them the weight of ego, an attachment to a name, a life, it lived through, identified itself to .. today it all lay heaped into piles of unidentified anonymity. Somebody’s skull, lay on somebody’s femur bone, somebody’s fingers, on somebody’s shoulders. Their only purpose now, decay. In the distant corner of the Shamashana, lay hidden the sadhaka, holding a red flower….. He cast deep glances around the Shamashana, heart racing. His ears pricked, for the mildest hint … of her ..
