I urge Liberian farmers to read "A Guide to Growing Cassava for Profit" by Liberian author Henry Roberts Jr. and apply its lessons to their work. This will undoubtedly increase our country’s supply of this vital staple.

In my role as Patron of the @AWLNetwork, I joined former Ethiopian President @SahleWorkZewde and Executive Director, Joyce Mends-Cole on a network visit to Dar es Salaam, at the invitation of President @SuluhuSamia of Tanzania. We engaged stakeholders to better understand the causes and implications of the October 29 unrest.

I am very pleased to be in Oslo at the invitation of the Nobel Peace Prize to witness the awarding of this year’s Prize to @MariaCorinaYA. As I reflect on the similarities of our journeys, I applaud this remarkable woman who has championed democracy and challenged a regime that has denied the rights and freedoms of its citizens. Her courageous leadership is recognized and respected throughout the world.

Neither Africa nor Europe can confront today's interconnected challenges alone. The Africa-Europe partnership is a vital stabilizing axis for the world, but it requires a new strategy. Today, as I reflect on my journey, I want to express my deepest gratitude to @georgesoros. His steadfast support for Liberia during our post-conflict rebuild, particularly through the @OpenSociety foundations was invaluable. What made his contribution so meaningful was not just the resources, but his personal commitment—humbly going into the most challenging parts of our country to see the reality for himself. One of many moves that signaled to the world that #Liberia was ready to re-engage on the global stage. His faith in our people and in my leadership helped us rise again. At #UNGA80, I was honored to address the High-Level Meeting on Peace & Security. 80 years on, the world demands candor. The multilateral system is underperforming, and our global leaders must be audible & accountable. It's time to act, not just with words, but with a renewed vision for peace, a re-commitment to the UN Charter, and women at the table. That's why I'm so proud that at #CGI2025, we announced a landmark $30M Commitment to Action to establish the African Women’s House in Liberia and advance the @EJSCenter's programs. This hub will be the first of its kind and the work of the Center is a testament to our belief that investing in women's leadership isn't just a talking point—it's the key to Africa's future.

At the recently held #AfricaHealthSovereigntySummit in Accra, hosted by @JDMahama, I called for decisive action to secure our continent’s health future. We must invest in digital infrastructure, take ownership of pandemic financing, and reaffirm our commitment to health funding. Africa must lead—on its own terms.

It was an honor to participate in this year’s Global Women Leaders Summit hosted by the @giwps, chaired by Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton. I joined a group of distinguished leaders including @JuliaGillard, @HelenClarkNZ, @mbachelet and Mary Robinson  to exchange ideas and strategies for advancing equality, democracy, and peace globally. Together, we launched the Women Changemakers Initiative — a cross-border, intergenerational platform to promote collective action and foster meaningful connections for women leading at all levels.

Welcome to our new 4th cohort of #AmujaeLeaders! The Amujae Initiative is now a formidable force of 54 dynamic women from 24 African countries. After a successful Forum in Marrakech, I am confident they will inspire and empower countless sisters. Onward!
