1/2 Exciting Update Alert! 🚀 Just received some truly spectacular data from @MaShaorong and @YiZuoUCSC of @ucsc. We’re sharing this data with all of you on the occasion of #FluorescenceFriday because sharing is caring. 🔬 The video showcases neuronal activity of excitatory cells in the medial prefrontal cortex expressing the genetically encoded calcium indicator GCaMP6. The data was acquired from freely moving mouse subjected to a behavioral test. 🧠✨ Brain tissue was illuminated with a fixed-wavelength two-photon laser (Axon 920 nm, 1 W, @CoherentCorp), and imaging was performed with a wearable microscope (Supernova-100, Transcend) through a grin-lens!
