A person close to me blames me for her miscarriage because last year I contracted the Epstein-Barr virus and she contracted CMV which led to her miscarriage. She thinks me being sick during that time is why she got sick as well. I’m so done within this abusive person.

@MariaPurt IDK, but I'm so insulted. EBV literally cost me three weeks of my life, all my sick days, and gave me a lot of trouble at work. And while both viruses can cause mononucleosis, which is what I have, they are still two distinct viruses. So she doesn't even make any sense.

@MaayanSe It's a defensive mechanism of most ppl: to find someone to blame. As if that's gonna fix anything. What is she gaining out of believing it's ur fault beyond losing a friend?

My roommate in college who now works in Dubai had not slept last night because of the explosions heard all over the city. I was able to contact her today, but I constantly fear for her safety. These are dark times! Praying for everyone in the Middle East.
