Jagannath Bhagavan and Kasturi! It is said that a King of Nepal once wished to offer the purest fragrance to Bhagavan Jagannath. From the musk deer of the Himalayas, he brought Kasturi, a rare essence, as his offering to Mahaprabhu. As the musk was placed before Bhagavan, its divine fragrance filled the temple. With folded hands, the king prayed: "O Bhagavan, this fragrance is Yours. May my devotion too be as pure and eternal as this offering." In recognition of his devotion, temple tradition accorded the King of Nepal the rare honour of performing Aarti on the Ratna Singhasana, the jewelled throne of Jagannath, a privilege denied to many dignitaries. Mani on ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash Key points: • Mani says the original affidavit identified Ishrat Jahan and her associates as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operatives whose targets were then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. • He alleges that then Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram altered the affidavit, replacing their names with "political personalities," and later filed a second affidavit without any new evidence. • Mani states that Intelligence Bureau investigations, along with inputs from David Headley and Muzammil Bhat shared through the U.S. Legal Attaché and the NIA, confirmed Ishrat Jahan's LeT links. She was a Fidayeen. • According to official police reports cited by Mani, the four people including Ishrat Jahan fired first, prompting police to respond in self-defense. The word "cross fire" was changed to "encounter". P Chidambaram wanted to protect Ishrat Jahan and today Zubair defends her. Why?
