Adut Kiir handed-over 10 motorcycles and two Land Cruiser vehicles to the area’s chiefs, known as the Sultans. Speaking during the handover, I emphasized that the aim of these logistical support is to strengthen local leadership and improving mobility so chiefs can effectively carry out their duties within the community. I spoke about the need for cooperation and responsibility, saying national leaders will do their part and expressed hope that local leaders will equally step up to support peace, unity, and service delivery.
