@Avabelly__ $10? Keep it without guilt. It’s not worth anybody’s time to return it.
English

Found this in a pair of jeans I thrifted. My coworker found out and she told me to bring it back to the thrift shop because it's the right thing to do even if it's just $10. She mentioned that if she found even a cent she would still return it. Would you return it? I think I have the right to keep it, but she's making me feel some type of way about it.

@ProFootballTalk The clock has been at 0:00 for at least a year. The incompetence everywhere in this is astounding. Anywhere else they’d be moving in next season. Feels like at least a decade away for the Bears.
English

The clock is ticking on a Bears stadium bill in Illinois. At this point, it could take a "miracle" to get something done. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

@SkankStallone @CuttyRise @ChiBearsMuse Bougie Arlington Heights? You’ve obviously never been there.
English

@CuttyRise @ChiBearsMuse I get it many people are just teed off on the entire situation. Ghetto of Indiana or bougie Arlington heights. It will come down to tax implications.
English

@GetUpESPN @Espngreeny @JoshPateCFB Well we know it really doesn’t matter if a 24 team playoff is popular or not. Once it’s put in place and the playoff begins, we will be glued to every game. Nobody can deny that.
English

"One of the worst ideas I've heard. ... This is one of the most unpopular movements or proposals that we've seen in a long time."
—@JoshPateCFB on possible expansion of the College Football Playoff to 24 teams 🏈
English

@WindyCityCritic At this point they could say they’re moving to Salt Lake City or San Antonio and nobody would blink an eye.
English

The Bears reached out to Chicago in April about a possible return to lakefront stadium discussions. This is a joke.

@pugsandco I lived in several places in the 6 county area, never in the city. I always say I’m from Chicago. It’s a place everyone has heard of and you don’t have to explain further. Nobody cares about the details except butthurt city residents.
English

@ShepSandwich @finebaum Actually no need for those anymore. If many teams from a conference qualify for the playoff there’s less of need to win the conference.
English

@finebaum Eliminating the conference championship games ruins college football.
English

@finebaum It won’t ruin it but it will put the focus on qualifying for the playoff rather than winning the conference. That will still require playing good football in the regular season so the season won’t be ruined. Maybe conference rivalries start to fade, but national ones form.

@ClownWorld If Waffle House employees get that nobody will eat there so nobody will get paid. An entire restaurant market segment is being priced out of business. Most will do what I do now - make eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, toast, etc. at home. It’s better anyway.
English

@WindyCityCritic Arlington is the better site but the state and the Bears can’t get it done. Everyone wants their pockets filled - the governor, the mayor, state politicians, city politicians, lawyers, and the Bears. That’s the problem in Illinois - who can steal most from taxpayers wins!
English

As a Bears fan, moving to Hammond is a worst-case scenario. As an Illinois taxpayer and anti-McCaskey person, I’d love to see the Bears move to Hammond. It would be one of the worst stadium situations in the NFL, likely fail long term, and force the Bears to look for another new stadium within 25 years.
Arlington has a chance to be nice but it will take a long time and a tremendous amount of money. Hammond on the other hand is bad in every way and would take an IMPOSSIBLE amount of time & money to fix it.
Chicago Tribune@chicagotribune
The proposed Chicago Bears stadium site in Hammond would be on a giant slag heap, and near hazardous waste sites and an oil refinery. chicagotribune.com/2026/05/19/chi…
English

@ErikLambert1 Well don’t we then have the question of how much horse shit is buried on the Arlington Park land?
English

The #Bears have threatened moving to Hammond, Indiana for months.
They keep talking about how appealing the site is.
If that were true, why do they continue stalling?
Well, maybe because it sits on a literal pile of human shit. (1/2)

English

@TheHultmanBeat Warren should be gone. He obviously can’t get it done and keeps pushing the date out. Just make a deal to go to Arlington and start construction. Wasn’t that why the Bears hired him?
English

#Bears President Kevin Warren says he expects to finalize a stadium location by June-July.
English

@TheHultmanBeat It will be Pritzker Memorial Stadium featuring gold toilets.
English

At this point, the #Bears won’t have a new stadium until 2040.
English

@sportsmockery @JerryAzumah Actually Pritzker and the state have no plan either. If they do, where is it and why isn’t it done?
English

Gov. Pritzker on Mayor Johnson: "The Mayor has no plan, he's come up with no plan at all about how the Bears would end up in the City of Chicago, so that's problematic." #DaBears

Who will be the #Vikings Week 1 starter?
