Is just the sort of movie that’s screaming for rediscovery on one of the boutique Blu-ray labels. (If they need someone to talk about it for several hours in the bonus features, I can be read in a moment’s notice.)

Sad to hear of the passing of Lina Wertmüller, who directed Camorra (1986) for Cannon. One of the few to have never received a US home video release, it’s one of the most annoyingly difficult Golan-Globus movies to watch.

@GiornataNera Took me a while to get to it too. In my mid-20's. It's a classic for a reason even though I'm not in love with it. I prefer the sequel by John Frankenheimer. Hackman should've received an Oscar for that one!

@acroce66 I love the way “Against All Odds” presents the song in the film itself, and as a remake, it’s not bad at all (great car chase), but the ending of AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN still works. “Way to go, Paula!” 😢
